STEM Day Camps

SCC is proud to host year four of a STEM Summer Camp on the Spartanburg (Giles) Campus! This camp is a partnership between SCC and USC Upstate, funded by the Noyce Grant through Nat’ l Science Foundation (NSF Grant).  Dr. Stephen Bismark (Professor at USC Upstate) is the lead, along with Linda Schmidt (SCC Department Chair, Mathematics).

There are two roles at this camp: Camp Assistants and Camp Counselors.  The Camp Assistants are current SCC or Upstate students that are majoring in math or science.  The Camp Counselors are current high school students in the community.

This camp has a high school focus and is open to oincoming 9th-12th grade students. Space is LIMITED, so apply today! We will only be able to accept the first 15 applications. For questions, email sbismar@uscupsate.edu.

Cost: $100 (Scholarships Available) - Lunch and Snacks Provided
