SCC’s Diesel Power and Emerging Technology Program is South Carolina’s first higher education program designed to provide students with hands-on training and practical experience in servicing heavy trucks and equipment, as well as emerging technologies such as electric and autonomous vehicles.

Learn diagnosis and repair procedures on diesel engines and their associated components using service publications, special service tools, and equipment. Emerging technologies such as alternative fuel sources are also included. Opportunities include:
